Hellblazer

Hellblazer’s comics inspired me to write a story. At this time of my career, the initiative to experiment with urban scenarios and different narratives from those I was dealing with in “Gustav”, my most personal work, arose from myself.

I chose John Constantine because I was enchanted by his mysticism and I saw in him as a mixture between the decadent, the esoteric and a social cynic that trapped me. I prepared some sample pages for the North American market.

In ‘Red walls of London’, Constantine has to solve the case of the disappearance of graffiti teenagers who have be possessed by an ancestral spirit. The main character will have to face a primitive force. To overcome it, he will have his faithful friend, the taxi driver Chas Chandler, and his niece Gemma.

The technique used was the traditional pencil and ink with grey finishes in digital.
